Since 2005 he has been working in advertising, directing dozens of films for all the major Italian production companies and winning many prestigious international prizes.
He wrote and directed the long feature film Fame chimica (98 min. Italy/Switzerland Prod. Gagarin /Lucky Red) which was featured at the Venice Film Festival in 2004. Fame Chimica won the Dolly d’oro 2004 for “Best Italian debut” as well as several international awards including “Best Feature Film” and “Special Public’s Choice” at the Annency International Film Festival in 2004. Fame Chimica was also one of five movies shortlisted for the Best film award at the David di Donatello 2005 and at the Nastro d’argento 2005.
He directed many documentary films and TV productions for several international broadcasters, including Le mani sulla Vita (90 min. Italy/Germany/France/Switzerland Prod. RAI Fiction /Arte / TSI ).
He wrote and directed the first Italian docu-soap, I Love Italy (8 episodes of 30 min. each Prod.Tele+ / TSI).
He directed the medium-lenght films Liberi Tutti, Pompeo, and The Munchies, all of which were broadcasted by Italian television. The Munchies won the Filmaker Festival as well as the Festival Arcipelago.
In 2006 he directed a series of short films for the popular Italian TV show “Ballarò” (Rai 3).
In 2001 he won the prize for “Best Italian music video” for Communtwist, featuring the Italian band 99 Posse.
